Brighton therapy conference
We are not officially affiliated with the annual conference of the college of occupational therapists.
In 2015 in Brighton, Sussex, there will be an annual conference which will involve the College of Occupational Therapists. 319 abstracts have been received and are being reviewed. The abstracts encompass a vast number of topics including learning disabilities, transgender, care for the end of life and adult physical health.
There will also be a return of the social care stream, including the topics of integration, the Care Act and sharing the best social care practice in all UK countries. It was a great opportunity for anyone interested in psychological therapy to learn more about new trends and research within this profession.
The College of Occupational Therapists’ 38th Annual Conference happened in Brighton. Responses confirmed that the conference was a brilliant opportunity to engage with the range and the resourcefulness of this profession. Delegates heard national leaders ask questions about the profession and share their vision for the future of occupational therapy.
