Margaret Broome
Margaret has worked for The Stroke Association for 22 years, first as a Communications Organiser for ten years then, for a short while, as Assistant to the Regional Manager before assuming her current role as Information Officer.
The work she does is very varied, covering meetings, events, contacts and support for stroke clubs, both general and The Association’s own stroke clubs. She also holds various hospital advice sessions, talks, presentations, BP checks and volunteers training sessions.
Margaret says that every day is different and the variety in the work she does makes her job extremely interesting.
